In the 2015-2016 academic year a new model of organization of extracurricular activities is being implemented.
Students have a choice of at least 3-4 units - extracurricular programs that they can cover for 8-10 hours of studying. The results of development may be presented in the form of a project.
Further choice of the program of extracurricular activities depends on the students’ interest. In the next quarter, they can attend another group to try themselves in a new direction.
For students of grades 5-9 it is an important training in professional orientation. Also this process accumulates skills in working in groups with line-up changes, the formation of temporary project groups aiming achieving a significant result.
For students of grades 10-11 this specialized form of organizing extracurricular activities is effective for further individualization and immersion into the selected subjects. Some lessons are delivered in English and German, so it develops linguistic competence and interdisciplinary integration.
